But sustainability, for us, goes far beyond the production of lightweight, zero-emission bicycles. It’s a commitment that must be rooted — quite literally — in the earth.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Treedom, a global platform that allows people and companies to plant trees and support long-term, community-based agroforestry projects. With every NOKO e-bike purchased, a tree is planted, creating a tangible link between your ride and a greener world.

Through our partnership with Treedom, every tree we plant is more than a symbol — it’s a living, growing contribution to local ecosystems and communities.

To date, NOKOBIKE has contributed to tree planting projects in:

• Cameroon

Each tree is planted by local farmers, geolocated, and photographed, giving our riders the chance to track its growth and see the real impact of their choice. These trees absorb CO₂, restore ecosystems, and offer food, shade, and opportunity to the people who care for them.

But the benefits go far deeper.

💧 Protecting Water, Empowering People

One of the core missions of our Treedom collaboration is to reforest the areas surrounding traditional water sources. This is not just about trees — it’s about preserving vital ecosystems, ensuring clean water access, and promoting sustainable land management.

Alongside reforestation, the project supports alternative income-generating activities for farmers. One of the most impactful is beekeeping: a high-value, sustainable practice that’s completely compatible with forest preservation. Bees promote biodiversity, their products offer significant income, and the practice itself motivates farmers to protect rather than exploit natural resources.

It’s a perfect example of how ecological restoration and economic empowerment can grow together, hand in hand.

NOKOBIKE’s environmental mission extends beyond reforestation. Our new 4,000 sqm production facility is powered by a 1.7 MW solar plant, covering most of our energy needs and further reducing our environmental footprint. This step brings us closer to our goal of becoming a fully green company — where innovation, performance, and sustainability coexist.
