NOKO has been officially presented at EICMA 2021 in Milan, between November 24 and 29
Almost unprecedented lightness, battery with up to 200 km range, a carbon belt drive – instead of a regular chain drive – that doesn’t get dirty, doesn’t require service and is also much quieter: these are some of the features of the urban e-bike NOKO, the Italian brand that introduced itself to the market at EICMA 2021.
The impressive weight of only 14,80 kg is suitable for quick trips as well as for longer journeys outside the city. The extra battery – as large and as easy to carry as a water bottle – added to the internal battery, allows to double the pedaling range to up to 200 km.
“This range extending battery – said Luca Coffa, the CEO and founder of NOKO – has been gifted to those who pre-booked their bikes at our NOKO exhibition booth”.
The essentiality of the design makes NOKO particularly appealing to those who love having technical performances and stunning design combined with practicality and elegance.
The use of racing components in NOKO e-bikes translates not only in improved performances and less effort, but also in greater safety.
With this goal in mind, NOKO has built effective partnerships with some of the most prestigious names in world of racing components: FSA for the engine, the battery pack, the handlebars, and the seat post. VISION brand has been chosen for the wheels, while the hydraulic brakes bear the RAICAM or SRAM name. The frames, in aluminum alloy, are 100% Made in Italy.
Another feature of NOKO is the customization: through the website nokobike.com the buyer can personalize its own bike by choosing the type, some of the components, as well as the color and the accessories.
Three models will be available from February 2022:
– NOKOFORZA: designed for urban use, it is the city bike for excellence with the high top-tube. The carbon belt drive ensures a very quiet use, maintenance-free and longer service life than traditional metallic chain. It is available with straight or raised handlebars.
– NOKOTEMPO: variant with a low top-tube, for those who prefer comfort in the city that this involves or simply prefers the look, offers the same specifications techniques of the previous model.
– NOKOVULCANO: designed for those who love gravel, then alternate the asphalt with the dirt. With its carved tires and 11-speed gearbox, it goes everywhere.
Inspired by Scandinavian culture, the new NOKO e-bike is a perfect mix of Italian style and Northern European culture for cycling filtered by the technical experience of the creator and producer Luca Coffa who has two generations of entrepreneurs behind him in the car industry.
